GEO 2020 Conference Bahrain will take place under the theme Geosciences in the Digital World: 2020 and Beyond. The GEO conference is organised and developed by the world’s 3 largest professional geoscience associations: the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG).

Additionally, GEO is fully supported by the Dhahran Geoscience Society (DGS), the Geological Society of Oman (GSO) and the Emirates Society of Geoscientists (ESG) in cooperation with a committee of national and international oil company representatives.

This combination of local and international expertise ensures that the programme is highly technical with leading edge science brought together from around the world mixed with local knowledge from the region’s leading geoscientists.
