Welcome to the Sakhir desert, home to Bahrain’s purpose built, world-class motorsport facility. It features five FIA certified track layouts, more than anywhere else in the world, including the 5.412km Grand Prix Circuit used for F1, WEC and Formula 2 races and on which McLaren hold the current lap record.

The circuit features two long straights, a fast section of satisfying curves and a number of demanding slow corners. It’s a fast and flowing circuit which allows the car to do most of the work. McLaren’s Driver Coaches advice: look as far ahead as possible.
