YK comes from the capital city of Slovakia, Bratislava.

Instead of choosing a traditional musical instrument, he dicovered his weakness for two turntables and a mixer. DJing broke into his life with his 19th birthday and it took no time and he became an essential part of Slovak hip-hop scene.

YK runs his own radioshow, where during live broadcasts it was possible to listen to well-known names, he hosted guests such as Dj Zinc, The Herbaliser, Lefto, Daedelus, Marshall Jefferson, Krafty Kuts, Wigbert, Troy Gunner and many others.
Currently he has founded his biggest love in European electronic music fusion, e.g. Berlin sound, UK bass music or French electro.
